Cider Mignonette for Oysters

  • 2 tbsp Lake City Crisp Apple Cider
  • 1 tbsp Finely Chopped Shallots
  • 1 tbsp Finely Chopped Apple
  • 1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • Fresh Ground Pepper to taste


  1. In a small pan, over low heat, combine the cider, shallots, and apple and cook for 5 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature, about 10 minutes.
  3. Stir in the apple cider vinegar and season with pepper.
  4. Spoon 1 to 2 teaspoons over freshly shucked oysters.
